First Financial Trust

First Financial Trust (FFT), a subsidiary of The Savings Bank, recently announced the promotions of two key members of the FFT team. Mariann L. Alford of Lexington, former Vice President and Trust Officer has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President and Trust Officer, and Andrew DiNuccio of Methuen, former Assistant Vice President and Investment Officer, has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Investment Officer.

Mariann L. Alford

Mariann L. Alford joined FFT in 2020 with nearly 40 years’ experience in client services, wealth management, trust administration, fiduciary, retirement, philanthropic, investment, and sales in the financial services industry. Before joining FFT she was Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager at Bank of America Private Bank with responsibility for the administration of high net worth and institutional client relationships.

Since joining First Financial Trust, Mariann has been responsible for ensuring the legacy of each trust by providing personalized attention to each client she works with.

Mariann received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Education from Keuka College. She completed Boston University’s Financial Planning Program and her Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from Cannon Financial Institute.

Andrew DiNuccio

Since joining First Financial Trust in 2020, Andrew has served as portfolio manager for individuals, families, foundations, and nonprofits and has been instrumental in growing First Financial Trust’s portfolio management services.

In addition to portfolio management, Andrew has been responsible for the introduction of 401k opportunities to businesses and their employees. Before joining First Financial Trust, Andrew worked in various roles in the wealth management industry. 

Andrew completed his MBA in 2020 from the Van Loan School of Business at Endicott College with a concentration in financial management, and his bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance and minor in economics from Merrimack College in 2013. He received a certificate in CFP Certification Education from the University of Miami and is Certified Financial Planner ® Professional.
